Genesis 20:11-13

¹¹ And Abraham said, “Because I thought, surely there is no fear of God in this place; they will kill me on account of the matter of my wife. ¹² Besides,^[a] she is my sister, the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother. And she became my wife. ¹³ And it happened that as God caused me to wander from the house of my father I said to her, ‘This is your loyal kindness that you must do for me at every place where we come: say concerning me, “He is my brother.”’”
